Title: Appreciative Inquiry: A methodology revolutionizing action-research

Abstract: The appreciative inquiry represents the conjugation between generative paradigm and the research action. It is a 'positive revolution'; methodology and epistemology, that which does not solely observe the transformation of the components but also includes the possibility of the generative change for people and organizations(Cooperrider & Whitney, 2005; Cooperrider, Zandee, Godwin, Avital & Boland, 2013). The intent of this article is to further shed light upon how the appreciative inquiry represents a proceduralization of the research-action for the formation and eventual funding of a new paradigm for the school.

Title: Appreciative Inquiry.

In practice, SOAR could be used to evoke conversations among stakeholders about what they want to discover or learn about within their organization, their desired future for the organization, and how they want to see the organization grow and flourish. These conversations are critical in developing affi rmative topics that ultimately set the agenda for “learning, knowledge sharing, and action” (Cooperrider and Whitney, 2005, p. 17)
