Title: Online training events for teachers' professional development: CLIL and technologies in a Learning Event promoted by eTwinning

Abstract: The paper aims at describing an online training initiative (Learning Event)promoted by eTwinning focused on CLIL (Content and Language IntegratedLearning) and on ICT.After a brief overview of the theoretical and methodological framework underlying the two "souls" of the initiative, the paper will try to depict theprocesses of discovering, learning, experimentation and socialization activatedin the participants, directly referring to their comments and remarkscollected through the initial and final questionnaire.Examples of materials produced during the course and excerpts of theteachers' interactions in the forum and on the blog will help understandhow training episodes such this one may enhance teachers' professionaldevelopment and improve teaching practices, also considering the latestReform Law (Law 107/2015) and the recently approved National TeacherTraining Plan (2016-2019).

Title: Momenti di formazione a distanza per lo sviluppo professionale dei docenti: CLIL e Tecnologie in un Learning Event di eTwinning

Abstract: Il contributo mira a descrivere una iniziativa di formazione online (LearningEvent) promossa da eTwinning in un contesto internazionale costituito dauna comunità di pratiche di docenti e formatori europei, per la maggiorparte italiani. Il tema del Learning Event è l'intreccio tra CLIL (Content andLanguage Integrated Learning) e tecnologie per una didattica innovativa eefficace. Dopo un breve riferimento al quadro teorico e metodologicosotteso alle due "anime" dell'iniziativa, l'attenzione si concentra sui processidi scoperta, apprendimento, sperimentazione e socializzazione attivatinei partecipanti, descritti attraverso i loro stessi commenti raccolti attraversoil questionario iniziale e il questionario finale.Esempi di materiali prodotti nel corso dell'iniziativa e estratti delle interazioninel blog e nel forum mirano a dimostrare il contributo che iniziativesimili possono apportare allo sviluppo professionale dei docenti e di conseguenza, al miglioramento delle pratiche didattiche, anche alla luce delnuovo quadro normativo delineato dalla Riforma della "Buona Scuola"(Legge 107/2015) e dal recente Piano Nazionale per la Formazione dei Docenti
