Title: For a humanistic pedagogy: contemplative practices in formal educational contexts

Abstract: This work wants to explore the practices of mindfulness, which is able to promote a piece of humanistic pedagogy that places one's global development in the core of its educational processes. The contemporary definition of mindfulness and the researches on its effetcs in formal educational settings helped to describe, on the one hand, the pedagogical movement of the Contemplative Pedagogy, on the other, a mindfulness lab carried out with university students, meant as an example of pratice.

Title: Per una pedagogia umanistica: le pratiche contemplative nei contesti educativi formali

Abstract: Il presente lavoro si propone di esplorare le pratiche mindfulness come terreno fertile in grado di promuovere un tipo di pedagogia umanistica chepone al centro dei processi formativi/educativi la persona nel suo sviluppo globale. Partendo da definizione in chiave moderna della mindfulness edalle ricerche sui suoi effetti ed il suo utilizzo nei contesti educativi di tipo formale si è arrivati a descrivere il movimento pedagogico della Pedagogiacontemplativa, descrivendo, infine, come pratica esemplificativa, un laboratorio di mindfulness svolto con gli studenti universitari.
