Title: Educational integration of refugees: A comparative analysis of educational systems in Georgia, Italy, Tunisia, and Nigeria

Abstract: The article presents a descriptive comparative analysis of the systems for learning opportunities for refugees at national level in four countries: Georgia, Italy, Nigeria, and Tunisia. It is a reflection that finds its roots in the experience of the Adult Education Academy (AEA) of February 2021, focused on the analysis, at a macro level, of the educational integration of refugees. Through a comparative perspective, the purpose of this contribution is to highlight who the providers are, what the procedures and the challenges that characterize the process of educational integration of refugees in the four countries. The comparative analysis conducted has highlighted differences and similarities between countries, but also the additional efforts that should be made to ensure good learning opportunities for refugees, starting with the implementation of an intercultural curriculum.

Abstract: L'articolo presenta un'analisi descrittiva a carattere comparativo dei sistemi per le opportunità di apprendimento per i rifugiati a livello nazionale di quattro paesi: Georgia, Italia, Nigeria e Tunisia. È una riflessione che trova le sue radici nell'esperienza dell'Adult Education Academy (AEA) di febbraio 2021, incentrata sull'analisi, a livello macro, dell'integrazione formativa dei rifugiati. Tramite una prospettiva comparativa, lo scopo di questo contributo è mettere in luce chi sono i providers, quali le procedure e le sfide che caratterizzano il processo di integrazione formativa dei rifugiati nei quattro paesi. L'analisi comparativa condotta ha messo in luce differenze e similitudini tra i paesi, ma anche gli sforzi ulteriori che dovrebbero essere compiuti per garantire buone opportunità di apprendimento ai rifugiati, a partire dall'implementazione di un curriculum interculturale.
